ALUMINUM BRIGHTENERS
AB-55 Brightener
Our first product, AB-55 is high in "HF" and Phosphoric, to give you a "satin" finish instead of the dull, chalky look. Works well at about 30:1.
Most Aluminum brighteners should not properly be called Aluminum brighteners, but Aluminum WHITENERS. This is because of the chalky, bleached looking finish they leave on aluminum surfaces. One of the problems with this is that the effect is cumulative: it gets worse with repeated washings. It is very difficult to build a quality reputation as a truck wash with this kind of brightener.
With this very much in mind, we developed a brightener that resulted in more of a SATIN finish on aluminum surfaces. It was considerably more expensive to blend, but we have always felt that there was a high demand in the truck washing industry for this kind of shine. We were right. Truck washers have consistently raved about AB-55 literally since day one of our operation many years ago.
Our secret in blending AB-55 has not been to diminish the level of Hydrofluoric Acid, a necessary ingredient in good brighteners. Rather, we have succeeded in buffering or complementing the HF with other ingredients. The results have been impressive and a mainstay of numerous reputations built up around the country by our loyal customers. (Some customers even go to some lengths to keep our identity as their supplier a trade secret!)
In our years in the truck washing business, we were able to consistently wash SIX 53 ft. van trailers per hour using AB-55 with COLD WATER, NO BRUSHING, and ONE OPERATOR! The secret lies in the brightener.

Safe-T-Brite™
The most safety conscious brightener you will ever find that works! Safe on glass when diluted at recommended rate, this product works well at 20:1. Cuts film & shines without dulling.
Are you concerned about the environmental impact and safety hazards of working with Aluminum Brightener? You should be! Hydrofluoric Acid, the base of conventional Aluminum Brighteners, is without any doubt the most dangerous of all the corrosives used in fleet washing.
Up until now, the only way to incorporate a margin of safety in washing was at the expense of performance. (Either that or break out the brushes!)
Enter "Safe-T-Brite", a revolutionary Aluminum Brightener with a base of Citric Acid, blended with three other acids, that is every bit as impressive as it is user friendly and environmentally considerate, not to mention economical.
No need to mix Safe-T-Brite in strong concentrations. For general fleet washing of over-the-road equipment being washed once a month or more, a ratio of 24:1 will most often provide very impressive results. This product cuts road film with no brushng, just like most high HF brighteners.
Have you ever had to replace windshields etched by the Hydrofluoric Acid in your Aluminum Brightener? Safe-T-Brite contains about 1/10th the HF of most good brighteners, yet the ability of this product to cut road film will impress any veteran truck washer. Why risk glass damage?
Safe-T-Brite is far easier on the work atmosphere and poses a greatly reduced threat in case of spills or industrial accidents. Why be exposed to these kinds of risks when there is an alternative that comes without the huge compromise normally associated with safety-oriented products? Safe-T-Brite is no gimmick!
