A unique blend of seven ingredients, this is a very versatile, all-purpose cleaner. Used straight it is an unsurpassed degreaser. Diluted, it is a great car wash, boat wash and general cleaner. Won't hurt any surface but may require brushing in low-pressure application. Remarkably well priced!

Its uses are many, to the point that we are constantly amazed at what our customers tell us concerning its wide range of applications. Omega Car Wash has long been a favorite of local car washes and detail shops, many of them telling us that our price was about half of the competition's. (Maybe we are too cheap . . . !) The effectiveness of this product on engines and shop equipment is very impressive. Put a few ounces in a pail and fill it up with warm water and you have car wash that is very tough to beat at a fraction of store prices.
Omega Car Wash is very high in surfactant, making it a high foaming product. It also contains generous percentages of other ingredients often deemed too expensive to include by big chemical companies. Every spring, boaters from the Chicago area have driven fifty miles just to pick up a gallon or two, making it a point to tell us what an incredible difference the product has made on their boat maintenance. (Our testing phase actually was done at a Chicago marina in the shadow of a soot-belching steel mill.)

Two-Step Car Washing System
The Two-Step process unleashes the chemical power of the strong reaction of acid to alkali to clean vehicles in a more effective way than had ever been possible before by putting the energy into the cleaning equation chemically, rather than mechanically.
For many years, the truck washing industry has understood both the need and the great benefit of the Two-Step Process. Greater than the sum total of the individual cleaning properties of the two products, the Two-Step process unleashes the chemical power of the strong reaction of acid to alkali to clean vehicles in a more effective way than had ever been possible before by putting the energy into the cleaning equation chemically, rather than mechanically.
The Two-Step method relies on the chemical reaction of two chemical products applied one over the other to achieve the supreme cleaning power attributed to this system. Omega Chemical has over a period of several years developed two specific chemicals for use in the Two-Step system that have brought a new level of ease and efficiency to truck washing, and now to car washing.
No other chemical company has the experience of Omega Chemical necessary to tame the beast of Hydrofluoric Acid, the chemical engine of the Step-One in the Two-Step process. We have been at this since 1985, not just as a chemical company, but at the "other end of the wand" for many years as well.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
Step 1 Presoak – A hydrofluoric acid based liquid detergent designed for use as a presoak in automatic car washes. Step 1 is also very effective a stand-alone product in friction systems. It is fast acting, and loosens the most resistant road film (oxidation) in rapid and impressive fashion.
FEATURES: Step 1 Presoak has powerful cleaning properties, yet is safe on glass and painted surfaces. It has strong foaming properties due to higher than average surfactant content. It is highly concentrated and economical to use.
APPLICATION GUIDE: As a presoak > 50:1 to 128:1 (1-3 oz. / car)In-Bay: > 80:1 to 160:1 (2-3 oz. / car)
Omega Step 2 – A highly concentrated liquid alkaline detergent that excels in touch-free high-pressure automatic wash bays. This is an extremely fast-acting single step designed for Chicago winters, and as such is very effective as a stand-alone product. It is a close cousin of our famous "No. 2 Truck Wash," a clear favorite across the US for 20 years.
FEATURES: Step 2 is aggressive yet safe on road film and organic proteins such as bugs. It foams and rinses well, & requires less time on the surface of a vehicle than comparable products.
APPLICATION GUIDE: As a presoak > 40:1 to 128:1 (1-3 oz. / car) 1 - 2 oz. / gal.
